Our founder Thiru.K. Govindaswamy Naidu had an insatiable desire to impart the best education to the rural children, particularly to the girls. This yearning had led him to start "K. Govindaswamy Girls' Higher Secondary School" at Annur in 1979 exclusively for girls followed by "K. Govindaswamy Matriculation School" in 1987 in the same campus.
In order to translate his dreams of providing quality education of international standards, "KG International School"(KGINS) was started during 2006. KGINS aims to encourage growth and development of skill and values with an enriched curriculum. It is ably supported by the necessary infrastructure facilities and faculties with effective teaching and time-management skills.
The specialty of the school is to make the students realise the importance of learning in physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual areas with abundant enthusiasm by reorienting the act of teaching to one of learning - we simply awaken the craft of teaching.
