International School, Annur believes in creating an environment for holistic development of students and facilitators. Led by Chairman, G. Education is not only about academics. It includes several skill-based activities. It starts from every move of the leaders of the institution. Utmost importance is given to a fearless approach, building self-confidence among students, identifying their unique skills and guiding them to progress. Every staff is qualified to guide the student in all walks of life.
Teachers undergo 50 hours of CBSE COE, capacity building program and arrange in- house training sessions. Every teacher transforms knowledge gained with colleagues on second Saturdays and hold demonstration sessions among departments. Every teacher shares creative ideas on teaching methodology, activities and projects. This mock teaching - learning process is helpful for everyone to adopt competency-based education. Freedom of work and freedom of expression helps teachers take up reflection activity in a positive mode.
Integrating Art to achieve goals
Similarly, teachers encourage students to have healthy discussions at given situations. Project work and art integration helps them understand the role of his or her work to achieve the year's goal. This is backed by good infrastructure, transport facilities, physics, chemistry, biology, math, computer, language, physical education and composite labs. In order to integrate art, an Art and Dance Studio have been built.
Students are given
Opportunities to learn skating, Wushu, Bharatanatyam, folk music, play musical instruments like drums, guitar, keyboard, violin free of cost. Students appear for Trinity examinations too!
The school has designed an elite sports curriculum for aspirants. Students can choose football, volleyball, basketball, baseball; indoor games like, chess, carrom, etc. In CBSE Cluster, our students were selected for National level long jump and skating.
Nurturing Leaders
To inculcate leadership quality among students, the school conducts council elections and through e-voting students democratically elect the head boy, head girl, sports captain, sports vice-captain, house captain, house vice-captain and mentors of various clubs. On Saturday, students explore an assortment of activities through Shakespeare's English club, Thiruvalluvar Tamil club, Ramanuja Math club, Aryabhata Science club, Vedic Math, Dr. ABJ Abdul Kalam General Knowledge club and SEWA projects.
In KGINS every child is motivated to participate in a minimum of five competitions. We shape children who keep trying until their goal is reached. A lot of reflective activities happen between facilitators and students tirelessly and they succeed effortlessly.
Bharat Scouts and Guides is another initiative in KGINS that helps build confidence and self-esteem among peer groups. It enhances students personal growth, leadership quality, community service, outdoor education, cultural exchange, and value of our soil.
KGINS is a techno campus where every classroom has an interactive smart board and the campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Facilitators are provided with an Apple I-pad for their class pre-preparation.
As per NEP 2020, to develop the skills of students we offer Artificial Intelligence, Coding, Data Science, Banking, and Taxation courses for middle and secondary school students. At foundational stage, we are keen on developing cognitive, psycho motor and affective skills in students.
Students and parents are aware of every move of CBSE through SMC. They have a parent's voluntary club, where parents extend their helping hand and are the judge for foundational stage activities and competitions. It is so fun- filled and enjoyable!
KG International breaks learning barriers and difficulty among rural students by providing ample facilities in the campus and ignites young citizens to be independent and fearless to face the challenges ahead. KGINS believes in "Education for All". No entrance examination and no extra tuition is needed by the student. Coaching happens in the school campus itself.
